About me

Hello, I'm Pape. I'm a computer scientist based in Cambridge, MA, working in human-computer interaction. I'm drawn to research that sits close to people's everyday lives, and I like building the systems that let me study it. I've been working at the DALI Lab as Technical Lead.

My work spans personal health tracking, where I've explored visual metaphors for customizable, collaborative self-tracking with my advisor Dr. Liz Murnane at Dartmouth, and computer science education, where I've built tools that bring course management into the developer workflow. You can read more in my publications and projects.

When I'm not at a computer, I'm probably playing soccer or losing at board games.
